Refresh rates are primarily limited by bandwidth limitations, but the latest generation of projectors can do 60 fps at 4K. While DLP uses oscillating mirrors and does have something like a "refresh rate per pixel", it's sufficiently high not to cause any real limitations even for high frame rates. When it comes to "flicker fusion", then the oscillation frequency of the DLP pixels is way beyond what human vision can "resolve" and SXRD doesn't "oscillate" pixels at all. So, I'm not sure what this technology will bring to the table that cannot be achieved with DLP or LCoS/SXRD regarding refresh rates.  |  IP: Logged
