Ok, Joe....Did you happen to notice the sneaky little shit that worked on the boat down where they were? Carl didn't want anyonw on the ship to know, but Jack typed it and spelled it....Still doesn't explain why the drama, but....oh f&*^ it.
On to my review!!
Damn, this was a REALLY intense movie. I honestly didn't even notice the time pass. It did lag in a few parts, and the natives on the island really annoyed me. I do agree that I'd liked to have seen how they got Kong on the ship.
Overall, Extremely well done by Peter Jackson. I expect this to get many nods in February. Jack Black was great. I have been a fan of Adrian Brody since "Oxygen", Expect him to get a nod in Feb too.
Naomi Watts gets my Greco Factor of course....Even in her circa 1930's clothes, she still gets a 7/10 especially when the shot where you could see right down her shirt!!!
Overall, the film was one of the most intense I've seen this year! Definately a 9.5/10 for me.
.5 deducted due to the lack of story in how they got Kong to NYC.
