In our case the competition got Reloaded and we got Revolutions. I believe they will now get Last Samurai. It has only been one week since this movie opened...right? Hell, I had the same about of patrons for Scary Movie 3 tonight. This movie is a box office bust for us! I did see on Boxofficemojo.com that Elf took the first spot from Revolutions on Tuesday. It will be interesting to see how long Elf can hold that spot.  |  IP: Logged Paul G. It is rumored that in order to get sales before it is too late, the DVD may be out in time for christmas, including a boxed set and even special editions. It will be interesting to see if this pans out. personally, I think the wachowski brothers should never have been given that much money to play with. They got lazy and stupid. Thier careers are as good as dead. I know people just go crazy for that alone.... Or it just may be the lack of the pre-show slide or digital avertising too... With 95% of the movie going public being subjected to crappy theatres do you really think those 95% believe that Imax is REALLY the most powerful projection system in the world when all it takes is that small camera up thar to show the DVD...... Out on Long Island, the UA East Hampton and UA Southampton drop Revolutions to open The Cat in the Hat.
