Typically those geeks posting on there are dead on with their reviews. I think this is because I am somewhat of a geek and I tend to agree with them. ANYWAYS: The word on the street is that this movie is AWESOME. MINDBLOWING was a word used. He also said that they should be called the WOW!-chowski Brothers after this movie comes out. 107 screens for the IMAX release. I don't think it will do very well. With 8 reviews posted so far the movie is currently running at 38%. I was big into Speed Racer as well when I was a kid, and then later on as an adult saw it again and realized that it was just crappy early anime... but it was awesome when I was little. $65 million first weekend. I think that will definitely hurt the movie. It was just not that good and way to long.
