It was more than likely having the word "Porno" in the title that stopped them from playing the film. At Jordon Commons which has been either the first or second highest grossing Disney location in the USA and considering the ultra conservative folks that go there mainly with their kids.... Its easy to see why they didn't want the word "Porno" on their Marquee for all the little kids to enquire about... Had it been another title without the word in it they'd have played it! So Smith suggested that they use "Zack and Miri" as the title (without "porno") on those billboards, and they were still denied permission. While I felt it was fine, honestly, I think it got away with a lot with an R. I remember in high school someone fast forwarding to all the nude scenes in Showgirls and I really don't see anything much different from that NC-17 flick to this.
