Money does not go any where near as far here as other places! Well actually when I worked for Loews it was in Massachusetts, The Boston area actually. But I wouldn't go to college with the aspiration of a career in the movie exhibition industry unless I just wanted to increase my knowledge and/or make social connections. College tuition is crazy expensive these days so it is hard for a movie theater to justify requiring a college degree to work there on any level. Granted, AMC only prefers it, not requires it.
