This thread is one of the many positive things about the Film-Tech forums.

I'm going to call to inquire about the monthly drives.

Hopefully the person who saved Technicolor all that money by switching to the cheap "EZ PEEL" labels has been dealt with. I will be mentioning those labels when I call them.

They have an incentive to act since it will save them money for freight, labour and drive duplication.

Thank Heaven!; and Thank You Benjamin for the update.
I have been putting nasty notes in with my returns for the past several
months. Yesterday I had to return a wholebuncha preview drives that
were sitting around here and and I'd say the "no peel" average was
3 out of 5. And those I was able to peel off required great care.
I was about one more day away from writing them a really bitchy
e-mail (with pictures) but I'll hold off & see how the new labels work.

From personal experience, I can report that the new labels are a BIG improvement. There is no stupid tear-out strip anymore; and the under-label is much smaller than the top label. You just peel off the top label from any bottom corner and the other label is left intact. No muss, no fuss.
