"I look at May 19th, the day "Star Wars: Episode III" is released, as one of the single greatest days of my life.

My mom just sees it as a window of opportunity to clean the basement." [Big Grin]

As the horror movie was about to reach its terrifying conclusion, the young woman began fidgeting in her seat.

The man sitting behind her leaned forward and inquired quietly, "Feeling hysterical?"

"No," she whispered, pointing to her boyfriend. "He's feeling mine." [Big Grin]

The American Film Institute has been at it again. They've ranked the Top 100 Movie Quotes of all time. Actually, they send out ballots to 1,500 filmmakers, actors, critics, and "others in Hollywood" with 400 nominations and then tabulated the top 100 results.

9."Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night." (Bette Davis/All About Eve)

8."May the Force be with you." (Harrison Ford/Star Wars)

7."All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up." (Gloria Swanson/Sunset Boulevard)

6."Go ahead, make my day." (Clint Eastwood/Sudden Impact)

5."Here's looking at you, kid." (Humphrey Bogart/Casablanca)

4."Toto, I've got a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore." (Judy Garland/The Wizard of Oz)

3."I coulda been a contendah!" (Marlon Brando/On the Waterfront)

2."I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse." (Marlon Brando/The Godfather)

I'm not sure why "War of the Worlds" is considered science fiction.

I mean, somebody traveling millions of miles to kill Tom Cruise doesn't seem all that far-fetched to me. [Big Grin]

"War Of The Worlds"
did a hugh business. You know the H.G. Wells classic where earth is invaded by aliens and they can't be stopped. They went from city to city vaporizing everythingin their path....And California still voted to give them driver's licenses.

"The man responsible for making popcorn a movie theater snack has passed away.

His family was going to get him a regular casket, but then decided to get the extra large one was the better deal because it came with a medium Coke." [Big Grin]

Shortly after the release of the film "Die Another Day", Pierce Brosnan visited a Dublin bar to enjoy a quiet pint while he waited to have his bicycle fixed.

After settling in to watch a horse race, Pierce was approached by a fellow patron who asked if he could shake his hand.

Pierce graciously agreed. After shaking, the man examined his hand with a glint in his eye. "This," he explained, "is the closest I’ll ever get to Halle Berry’s arse!" [Big Grin]

It's fun, a good movie, a large box of popcorn, a soft drink, what better way to spend 30 or 40 dollars. [Big Grin]

Gangster movies are kind of self-defeating.

It's hard to prove that crime doesn't pay when you're paying 11.50 a pop to see it. [Eek!]

"The American Film Institute did a survey of the greatest movie lines of all time.

"Do you know what was ranked #1 was?

Clark Gable in gone with the wind, 'Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.'

The least-popular movie line of all time?

'Popcorn and your small soda, that'll be $9.75.'"

Americans have their own M.C., or Master of Confusion. His name is Sam Goldwyn (1882-1974), a hot-headed movie producer whose verbal blunders have passed into legend.

Include me out.

I can answer your request in two words: Im-possible.

I'll give you a definite maybe.

Don't talk to me when I'm interrupting.

I never liked you, and I always will.

I don't pay any attention to him. I don't even ignore him.
