Favourites ? - Too many to list here, -but the one to make me tremble is still "way back when" - The opening titles of "Hello Dolly" - in 70mm of course. -The prolouge just long enough to allow you to get downstairs, looking and listening from the back of the auditorium. Eyes, ears, heart - what more do you want - it was so beautiful, and i guess, we'll never see it again. -Not to mention same film - reel 5 - The title song in the Harmonia Garden. - Are we getting a bit romantic/nostalgic here...?

That's another one, The Great Leslie can try on for size ! (Fate, Professor)

Lawrence OF Arabia in 70mm at various locations including a 3 week run in Manitowoc,Wi at the Strand Theater.

2001 A Space Odyssey at both the Cinema Borealis outdoor screening and at the Virginia Theater in Champaign, Il. for Hals 25th Birthday. The Virginia screening was SRO. Gary Lockwood along with Roger Ebert was on hand for an after film interview by the audience. It was only the second time that Roger had seen it in 70mm and he was extremely impressed. Roger continues to hold his annual Roger Ebert Film Fest there at the Virginia.

Mad Mad World in 70mm in my Basement theater a number of years back. The print was red but it was still lots of fun and sharp as a tack.

Oklahoma in 70mm in my basement theater at 30fps. Again the print was old and beat red but still very impressive to watch.

Topping the list of my favorite films would have to be Cinema Paradiso, Polyester, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Sound Of Music, Dawn Of The Dead, Clockwise, and Rock 'n' Roll High School, and I've never run any of them! I have, however, had the opportunity to run UHF, Princess Bride, the reissued Star Wars trilogy, Shawshank Redemption, The People Under The Stairs, T2, and every film that Jim Varney and Pauly Shore ever made. The business does have it's ups and downs...

Spartacus - A couple of weeks, when the original print was still around during late seventies - And then again two weeks the glorius new print in 1994 (?)

The original list would be very, very long - still counting favorites only. I suddenly feel both happy -and old ! - And now, it's allmost time for visiting the Kodak Theatre. -Show will start 02,30 in the morning (local DK time). -Good, i have nothing running until 4 o'clock in the afternoon monday. -And that's Mr Smith - the Oscar-winner, i hope...

"2001: A Space Odyssey" is just about my favorite film, and I will indeed be running it this weekend! Thanks to my theatre's weekend classics series. It isn't equipped for 70mm, but hopefully Warner Bros. will have a nice newish 35mm print available.

All of the above were in Super 8 Mag and ran it for family and friends in my living room and also at my studio's camera room for many of my high school senior customers.
