Announcing a NEW Price icon! The old one is still available, but this new one can also be used for an even more enjoyable forum experience!

Judging from this new and more recent picture of our friend , I wonder is he Ital ? Is he Canad ? Is he As ? Is he Russ ? Could he be Indones ? Maybe he is Egypt ?

Huh? I see that you're "compressing" text by replacing all occurrences of "ian" with the icon, but it isn't really helping since the icon takes up more space than the three letters. It will also wreak havoc on any attempt to do word analyses if this method gets to be popular.

All this about librarians and giant but compliant Christian homes not making one a good musician? I don't get it, unless you simply grepped a dictionary for a bunch of words having "ian" in them and used them, much in the way that your teachers had you write stories using your weekly spelling words, which made for weird stories.

That new picture of yours is cute, Joe. Was it taken 10 years ago? (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

Unfortunately, there are no words (other than "joey") that contain "joe", so I can't write a little story using the new "Joe" icon I created.

A spell check would be unbelieveably hard. The forums you have seen them on were sponsored by a company that is no longer going to be offering their service next month, so for right now it is not a possibility.

Thanks Brad. John P. tells me that 'spell check' was brought up a while back, but I must have missed that thread.
I'll keep "Webster" by the computer!
