Two of them weren't current films because we always try to get one or two older movies in the mix. (Hard Day's Night and Metropolis.) Out of the remaining 7 movies, two of them were mominated: Whale Rider Capturing the Friedmans This term we will play 18 movies, out of which, 2 of them are rep titles. (Monty Python and Lawrence of Arabia.) Of the remaining 16 films 9 of them are nominees: Lost in Translation In America 21 Grams Girl with a Pearl Earring City of God The Fog of War The Barbarian Invasions The Weather Underground American Splendor So, overall, 11 out of 27 film we play this year will be Oscar Nominees. If you don't count our rep titles, that's 11/23... Anyway, how many of these movies do you guys think that we are going to be getting back because of these nominations?
