This is truly disgusting! Especially the stories on newsshows like 60 Minutes in the past few years about funeral home fraud!

Marsh was just too cheap to pay the natural gas bill for the retort! I wonder if he was not lazy enough to knock out gold fillings and the removal of other "valuables!"

Whats surprising is that no one discovered this before now? Surely someone who was on the property wouldve seen something and reported it earlier.

I am suprised no auditor noticed no either natural gas or oil bills
Repairs to most retorts for relineing the brick work are more expensive than theatre equipment but usually the custmoers don't talk back

(donning flame proof suit) Nice retort, Gordon. You must have had a burning desire to respond.

Every time I see this thread, I'm reminded of all the guys in the backwoods that grew up with old cars and appliances strewn around the countryside. Is this learned behavior or genetic? I guess it could be something in the water... like Grandma Jones?

My big question is... Who gets the movie rights? There has to be another horror film in this. Maybe the corpses are vampires and keep turning off the gas? Ghosts of a Cherokee family are preventing burials and cremations? Chipmunks have organized under a lead chipmunk named Willard to destroy local business?

Will, there were some tasteless and stupid jokes here, mine among them, but I really hve to say that I think you crossed the line when you bring up the Nazis. Some folks were making light of a terrible situation, but I think your comment equated a terrible situation with an atrocity of an unbelieveable scale.

No hard feelings, but I thought that needed to be said.
