My former morning aggravation: catching a 6:50AM bus to school, with the school day starting at 7:35AM. (I lived 10 miles away from my high school.) I never got 8 hours of sleep in a night, 7 hours would be about the maximum, with 6 hours being the standard. Thankfully, all that nonsense ceased nearly 6 years ago.My biggest morning aggravation recently: my cat, Kashmir.
Now mind you, I love that adorable orange fur-ball.
Somehow, that feline has it in his head that it is perfectly acceptable to wake me up after I've been asleep for only a few hours, as though he needs to be let outside (no litter box in the house!) - which I'd rather get out of bed, and let him out, than wake up later and find a little 'surprise'.
So to wake me up, he'll sit on me, with his two front paws right below my collarbone, and put most of his weight on his front paws, then rub his nose all over my face - not a particularly nice way to get jolted out of a dream. So I'll groggily get out of bed, and head over to the door to let him out - and the little bastard stops at the food bowl, and chows down, instead of strolling out the door! 
...So then I pick him up and shove his fuzzy butt out the door -whether or not he actaully needs to go! 
There are very few things for which I do not mind being woken from a deep snooze! (And a cat playing games isn't one of them!)

What do I hate most about the mornings?Arrive at the boathouse at 6:00am for an outing. It's cold, it's raining (though knowing my luck that'll be hail or snow before too long), I'm really not awake and now I have the opportunity to spend two hours killing myself just to ensure that I'm too physically exhausted to be manage the high speed cycle ride required to get to lectures on time. Some other member of the crew wandrs over sleepily and declares: "Didn't think much of that film last night." The put together and watch through of the film took me three to four hours two nights before, the projection and take apart took a similar time the night before (if you can call it that as I've probably had about two hours sleep between leaving the booth and crawling down to the boathouse) and I spent the whole film that he didn't enjoy listening to the whirr of the projector and barely paying attention to the film, but I've got to be there to run the thing. He's had at least twice as much sleep as me if not three times so and he had a relaxed evening in the auditorium the night before not enjoying the film I slogged my guts out to put on screen for him and the rest of the audience. None of that irritates me though, the thing that I hate about mornings is that I have neither the heart nor the energy to throw the offender in the river and end up going "Sorry" instead...

Since working in the theater business, my body has gotten used to staying up late and sleeping late. I'm ususally up until at least 1 or 2, weather I'm working or not. If I have nothing to do, I don't get up until at least 10. But I hate those semesters where class is at 9:30, and if I want to have any chance of getting up at 8, I have to force myself to go to bed by 11 even though I'm not tired. Usually doesn't happen, I stay up until 1 anyway, and end up regretting it.Although I am not a morning person, I will have to get used to it when I become a tech, and I do not want to give that up, no sir! Start work around 6 or 7 in the morning, be finished by 1 or 2, have the rest of the day to yourself. Not too bad I suppose.
