Looks like I again will miss out on ShoWest. [Razz]
I may even feel bitter jealousy for three of the four days of it.
The reason its not all four is that one of those days I'll be seeing Tori Amos in concert - at the Merrill Auditorium, (quite a nice, not overly-large venue) with pretty damn good seats. [thumbsup]

One of these days, I'll get to check out ShoWest ... or ShowEast ... *sigh*

To all who are going - have a blast! [beer]

Greg, for what it's worth....I booked rooms at Ballys through Expedia.com at $89/night. While not exactly a bargain basement rate, it's still not bad for being close to the event.

Out of curiousity, what is the legal drinking age in Nevada that would prevent Josh from getting into a bar and ordering free Coke's claiming to be the designated driver. (Yeah I know, I'm that cheap! [Smile] )

Certainly! Instead of getting Josh drunk, we'll get him spazzing on caffeine. [Wink]

Although I've never met Josh, I'm sure it would be a hoot to see him drunk. See how far he could slide across the floor after THAT! [Wink]

For the record, Nevada's minimum legal drinking age is 21. [beer]
And our Blood Alcohol Content value for driving purposes is 0.10% though one can be arrested for DUI with a lower BAC level or any detectable amounts of certain drugs. The Feds have threatened to take away our highway funds if we don't lower the BAC to 0.08%--our part-time legislature (once every other year for 120 days) will be discussing the issue this year.

Thomas, I don't think you would ever see Josh drunk. He does not believe in that sort of nonsense. This young man has brains! [Smile]

Paul M.: Some cities in Washington State have "0" tolerance on under 21 DUI. I have seen other cities in other states with the same philosophy.

If anyone under 21 takes one schlook of Listerine and drives, that person is considered drunk.

So you're saying that Josh knows the implications when cameras are around? [Big Grin]

Where is Josh anyway?
