We got 10" of snow here in Milwaukee the first Friday of December, and it hasn't snowed since. Subsequent rains made sure we didn't have a white Christmas. Just kidding. It's a pet peeve of mine when people say that when temperatures are running 10-15 degrees above normal. Being that global warming is supposed to be a few degrees in a century, if it caused a 10-15 degree increase in a year or two the world will be flooded really soon. The outside temperature reached 12 degrees C (56 F) in northern England this afternoon, which I've never known before in January.
