He would have been better if he'd gotten to do it again (he even said that in an interview). But I thought he seemed uncomfortable in the host role. He's more used to having total control over his show, and that's not the case with the Oscars. The best part of Letterman's host gig is that he's still milking it on his own show to hilarious effect to this day! I just hope they never bring back Whoopi Goldberg, the most annoying host in Academy Awards history.  |  IP: Logged
