Even down to the receding hairline... still wonder how the kids at the new place I transferred to think I'm 18.

They don't. They think you're retarded enough to believe that they think you're 18. [Big Grin]

The fact that a girl who couldn't have been more than 19 stood there hitting on me says otherwise. When I answered her question about my age she said she was surprised... and she hasn't spoken to me since (then again I hang in the booth).

Plus it could be the fact that I'm shorter than some people 10 yrs younger than me.

Sorry about dredging up this old thread but Jake Lafree's member pic keeps reminding me of someone but I couldn't figure out who and then it hit me: John Candy (sorry Jake!).

Back in 1995, I remember opening up the newspaper and seeing this image in the movie theatre ads...

 -

And then, just down the page a little further, I saw an ad for this movie...

 -

...and the irony of the movie's title blew my mind. (Speaking of being separated at birth, these two movies were released on the same day.)

Hey, well I'm, eh...taller.

 -

Now that's just plain freaking shameless. I think HBO and the producers of True Blood or at least the ad agency behind the creative work has a clear case of copyright infringement. Well. That's provided if the same ad people didn't work on both the True Blood and Jennifer's Body projects. It's pretty sad to see just how unoriginal and blatantly derivative Hollywood has become in its marketing.
