quote: I thought they were saying Doare or Dowre county because of the accent...
Speaking of accents... I was installing a new proximity detector in a MK-IV automation several years ago. The projectionist assisting me in this was a Wisconsinite. Just like I am prone to do, if I feel comfortable around someone, my native accent slips in. This fellow was in full cheese-speak mode...
The work I had to do involved moving a couple of wires off the old terminal block, and onto a new board that came with the prox. As we were finishing the job, the projectionist said, "What about the black?" I looked at the wiring. "Which one?" "The black, the BLACK!", he said. I explained, "We don't do anything with the black, we just moved the red and the green."
He started laughing at this point and, clearing the accent, said, "I meant the BLOCK!"
