Another childhood favorite was The CBS Children's Film Festival. Got used to reading subtitles early thanks in part to that series. It's not about humiliating people (which is what most "reality TV" is about) but, instead, it's about making fancy cars, about giving things to people who couldn't otherwise afford them and, generally, making everyone look happy to be a part of it. And it's funny. Andromeda Started off as fluff, but turned into a really good show. Farscape May the SciFi Channel burn in hell for canceling this one. CSI The orginal series only. Danger Man/Secret Agent Man Same show, only the name has been changed to confuse the public. The Prisoner Secret Agent Man retires. Twin Peaks Everything I know about the Pacific Northwest I learned from this show. Outer LimitsBoth the original and the newer series. Both were excellent shows. Married With Children I got to be in the studio audience for one of these, it was a lot of fun. Family Ties Another disfuctional family, only this one doesn't know it. Third Rock From The Sun Another disfunctional alien family, and they know it. Batman Holy Cow, this show still holds up well. Twilight Zone Original series only. Star Trek Original series only. Stargate SG-1 Ok, I know, every episode is the same, just different locations, but it is great mindless fun. Wild Wild West I'm not sure if this was Sci-Fi or a western, but I liked it. Mission Impossible Let's see, during the Nixon years, a TV show about a group of goverment agents operating above the law, answering only to the White House which would disavow any knoweledge of their actions if they were caught. Nah, nobody would ever believe it. Cadfael PBS mysteries series, originally BBC I think. A mideval munk uses what little science existed in the 1300's to solve murders. Dr. Who What they lacked in budget, they made up for with good scripts. The Adam's Family Much better than The Munsters. Land Of The Giants A lot of fun if you didn't think about it to long. That was canceled years ago.
