I-15 does not go through Los Angeles, that`s probably why you had a little problem there.

I never had a problem travelling while in LA or Nevada , Arizona or Utah , travelling on a 12hr flight to LA from NZ landing 7am LA time (3am NZ time) getting a Budget Rental Car and Driving on the Right hand side of the road and left hand side of a Car for the first time in my life ,then driving to the 105 , 605 , 10 then the I-15 all the way to Ogden UT on my forst day in the US was quite an eye opener , but I would have to say it was very enjoyable and free of any great mishaps , I would have to say that you have some very sensible road rules in the US and some very fine and safe roads to travel on , so to all you truckies over there .... I take my hat off to you all [beer]

Sometimes it was totally screwed during the winter in Oklahoma.
Goddamm people driving in front of you would throw snow on your windshield by spinning their rear tires.
