Rachel--post a reasonable date/time/place and I will probably be there. I will (most likely) be out of town from the 20-23, however.

How do you have a Film-Tech drink w/o Mr. Film Tech?

ooooh -- we should have a beauty pageant for Mr/Mrs Film-Tech 2004. Although what would be the point... Joe and Phil would be tough competition.

I am Mr. Film-Tech! After Brad came up with the name "Film Tech" we saw that the domain was already registered, so I insisted on the infamous hyphen! If that doesn't make me Mr. Film-Tech, I don't know what does!

Actually, I am the original Mr. Film-Tech. Another technician and I formed "Film-Tech Services" in 1979, to service booths in and around Lexington, KY. This was followed by "Film-Tech Productions" in 1982, and we shot 16mm and did animation.

Somewhere, I still have the old business cards and production forms. I'll post pix if I can ever dig them up. Til then, you'll just have to take my word for it.

Maybe Joe should settle for calling himself "Mr. Hyphen"?

Yes Tim, but did your company embrace the much-coveted Copperplate Gothic Bold font? I highly doubt it. That's why our Film-Tech is better! [Smile]

Don't have a time or a place, figured we could "discuss" that. [Smile]

If I am in Newport I will also stop up for the drink. I wonder if Mr. Hy-Phen will really fly in. He still owes me a F-T Hat. [Wink]

You've got to be kidding. Nobody begs Joe.

If all the snow were to disappear by then, and Bob was to bring butter-tarts, I could see myself getting off my ass to come over.

If that happens though, I'll be in a pissy mood since ski season would have been cut way too short.
