As for Phil,it is my understanding that he always says the opposite of what he really means. In other words: Yes = No, Cold=Hot, Dry=Rain, Desert=Snow etc., If he walks in a room and you see his face he is leaving.But,if he walks in and you see his rear-end, he is entering.
