quote: Manny Knowles
We have sex for all sorts of reasons apart from how much "fun" it can sometimes be.
This is true. Very often people are not honest about their intentions when they want to have sex with someone. Everyone has to keep their cards close to the vest in an attempt to get what they want out of the encounter, be it money, commitment or any other number of things. It seems very rare for two people to mutually agree they only want to casually screw with no strings attached.

The kind of people who piss me off in this situation are those who will have meaningless sex with someone even though they know fully well they're going to hurt them in the process. The thing about this that makes me angry is how they turn it around to make it the other person's fault: "that's her problem that she got her heart broken." Anyone with that attitude deserves a nasty case of herpes and have everyone know about it. I despise cruelty.

quote: James B. Openshaw
Geez, Richard. It appears that your 'plan' backfired and you were the one who was screwed.
That's why it is usually not a good idea to "dip your nib in the company ink."

You know how there are some things you just don't want to know about your parents?

My family and I were in Wal-Mart today shopping and my dad told my little brother to go to the womens section and get my mom a bra. (As a joke). He went and came back asking what size. Sure enough, my mom said her size....36 D....OMG!!!! I didn't need to know that!!!!!

I do? Perhaps you should look in the mirror and see the "you" that we all here see.

Go re-read your posts and topics... It seems to me that ALL of us should be VERY afraid... Ummmm... of you.

36 D....OMG!!!! I didn't need to know that!!!!!

No, but maybe we did! [Wink]

You must have had a very sheltered upbringing if you didn't already know that little factoid just from seeing them in the laundry etc.

Edit:
OK, now that I think about it I don't know my mother's size either...but I wouldn't be OMG about it.

One thing I've heard said is It's not who you know - it's who you blow!

Unless laws have been changed, oral sex is still illegal in 25 states.

I don't know which ones are the other 24, but I know that Maine is one of the 25.
Plenty of people disregard that law, and enjoy it - sometimes as much as the person on the receiving end. [evil]

Gracia, I guess you couldn't see the tee-vee while you were, um, down there but the Supreme Court overturned its own 1986 decision and struck down a Texas gay sodomy law last November and it's presumed that this is applies to straight couples as well. I believe Maine's law was changed back in 1976.

quote:

Tuesday, November 18, 2003 Posted: 11:00 AM EST (1600 GMT)

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Supreme Court Thursday struck down a Texas state law banning private consensual sex between adults of the same sex in a decision gay rights groups hailed as historic.

The 6-3 decision by the court reverses course from a ruling 17 years ago that states could punish homosexuals for what such laws historically called deviant sex.

Legal analysts said the ruling enshrines for the first time a broad constitutional right to sexual privacy, and its impact would reach beyond Texas and 12 other states with similar sodomy laws applied against the gay and lesbian community, and into mainstream America.

"The petitioners are entitled to respect for their private lives," Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote for the court's majority. "The state cannot demean their existence or control their destiny by making their private sexual conduct a crime."

As recently as 1960, every state had an anti-sodomy law, according to The Associated Press. In 37 states, the statutes have been repealed by lawmakers or blocked by state courts, the AP reported.

Of the 13 states with sodomy laws, four -- Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri -- prohibit oral and anal sex between same-sex couples. The other nine ban consensual sodomy for everyone: Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah and Virginia.

Thursday's ruling apparently invalidates those laws, as well. CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin said the decision appeared to strike down most laws governing private sexual conduct, but he said laws governing marriage would be unaffected. (Full story)

Laws that might be most vulnerable would be ones that govern fornication and adultery, said Diana Hassel, associate professor of law at Roger Williams University.

And while Hassel said "only a handful" of states remain still have such laws, Thursday's Supreme Court ruling establishes a benchmark in privacy that had not existed.

Hassel said the ruling, based on due process arguments rather than equal protection laws, would push out new areas in privacy. "This is going to carve out protection for private sexual behavior," Hassel said. "As long as it's between consenting adults, this ruling would appear to cover it."

Richard's tells his dad who he has sex with. His mom tells all of Wal-Mart her bra size. Richard has his eyes on girls who are underage. Looks like their family gene pool could use a filter. [Big Grin]

Oh quit ragging on the guy. "Underage" is an artificial concept of fairly recent origin. He's admiring fully developed women not undeveloped girls which means he is responding as nature intended.
