I am afraid of wasps, bats, big dogs, and talking in front of crowds. Steve, that got a guffaw out of me for some reason! What gives me the willies is being stuck in traffic on the GW Bridge in my 18-wheeler, and feeling the roadway bounce up and down on the suspension cables. Wheeee! Unfortunately, with recent increase in terrorism alerts, I am afraid to be "stuck" on a major bridge or going slowly through an underwater tunnel. (I hope someone is occasionally checking what's inside some of those 18-wheelers and panel trucks) I assume truckers are keeping on eye out for "strangers" to the profession. I feel the best advice today it "get to know your neighbor", whether it's who's at the truck stop, sitting next to you in the airport lounge, or trying to buy ammonium nitrate fertilizer.
