A. Steve Kraus of the Lake Street Screening Room in Chicago, who is a scholar of film projection, tells me: "Yes, it is possible to be too bright. Of course you can't literally burn the screen but the picture could be washed out and uncomfortable to watch. There are many factors in picture brightness, but there is no reason for guessing. A technician with a light meter can read the reflected brightness of the screen with the projector running without film. It should be 16 foot-Lamberts. I would recommend the forum section at www.film-tech.com, where he can get detailed advice about his particular equipment."

TRUE FACTS AS KNOWN BY ME!

Did you know that my uncle was violently murdered last year?
(some here were aware)
Did you know that he alerted us to his fear of this?
Did you know that he caught his boss embezzling a very large sum of money?
Did you know that he collected evidence that supports the facts and is easilly interpreted?
Did you know that the week before he was shot in the back of the head with a 9mm, he called the company's owner and reported the whole operation?
Did you know that he taped the entire conversation?
Did you know that doctors at Baylor have you sign a permission form to treat a dead man, while not informing you that your loved one is dead,so they have enough time to type and preserve their organs for donership; while not telling you
until 24 hours has passed?
Did you know that 30 minutes after you arrive at the hospital, Dallas homicide agents to ask you what you know and you tell them everything.You Beg them to to confiscate all hard drives from the company in question,and you also tell them that you have all of the evidence collected, but they are not interested, as they are going off the clock for the entire holiday weekend and can't start investigating until tuesday. (when they had fresh agents that could have been assigned the case.)
Did you know that thirty minutes after he was placed in the Critical Care Unit, that they had a medical court judge sign a termination of life order?
Did you know that we were activly followed and threatened by unknown persons in cars with un-matching plates for about 6 months?
Did you know that the owner of the company fired the entire staff of said Texas location in less than 6 weeks.
Did you know that that they never sent us any condolences, never sent his final pay check or his vacation pay?
Did you know that because of a problem with the funeral home that my uncle's body spent 6 weeks in the M.E.'s office?
Did you know that homicide only collected the taped conversation for evidence and told us to hold on to the rest and they would come back to collect the rest later.
Did you know that they never answered any calls, or came back for the rest of the evidence 6 months after they collected the tape?
Did you know that they have yet to release his van from the auto impound lot to us?
And as of today, did you know that the agent in question was not well liked, and has since transferred, and though the case is still open, is not being handled by anyone?
Did you know that no one really cares or even gives a shit?
Did you know that of my closest friends even turned their backs on me out of fear?
Did you know that the weenie man talked me out of swallowing a loaded shotgun?
Did you know that there's no justice for the poor?

Time out Steve,
Yes it was a Major loss for my extremely small family, and When I say small, I literally mean there were four of us,
My Grandmother, my mom, my uncle and me.
I have been struggling this past year trying to keep us alive, no easy task in this economy. This was the second major disaster to hit us in the last 14 years.
We have legal representation, and we have spoken and even visited our local media and they seem to be interested, but my faith in justice is fading fast.
I apologize for hi jacking your thread, we learned about the transfer yesterday, and I have been experiencing the feeling of impending doom for over 6 weeks now; you know, that sickening feeling.
Paul's advice was like a crutch, but it was like someone kicked it out from under me.
Anyway,
I don't know how things are going to work out if at all!
I guess that I'm having a hard time dealing with the loss and hearing the bad news was like hoping in to
a time machine, everything came flooding back.
I'm having a bad time of it,
I mean, I Pissed Brad off by complaining about loosing the silly signatures feature.
I have been trying to deal with loss, but for me it's becoming a struggle, I've lost too much already, and what little I have
yet to loose is just too much.
Thank you Steve.
I guess were in it for the long haul but even here I feel so alone.
