Now watching him just serves as a reminder we're both getting old and tired. Leno can be funny but he's never been in the same league as Letterman was in his glory days at NBC. I like Conan, but man, I don't know if he can carry that earlier timeslot. "Tonight" would be a classier gig than "Late Night," for sure. The worst is (again, by far) Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra. They sound horrid, uncomposed, sloppy and all around bad. Put'em on the same show and there would be NO talent or watchability at all.
