Hey Guys,

Arse Kicker here!

Since some members seem to think that it's o.k. to totally
skirt the golden rule, I thought it might be a good time to remind everyone what that rule is!

quote: RULES AND POLICIES

RULE #1 (paraphrased)

Personal attacks: These forums are moderated in the respect solely toward personal attacks. Everyone is welcome to participate in any capacity until the point comes at which other members are being singled out and directly insulted.

All this refers to is the tone of the post if made toward a specific member of the forums. Disagreements are a daily occurence on the forums and will not be moderated, but personally attacking another member will not be tolerated.

If you are unsure if your post will "read" poorly toward another, please consider using smileys to assist in expressing the tone of your post or re-word it before posting, or refrain from posting it completely.

The bottom line is to please be polite, mature and professional towards the other members or you will be removed from the forums, regardless of your knowledge or stature in the industry. This includes sending harrasing emails to other members and comments made in the chat room.

When in doubt, please do as your mother told you and keep your comments to yourself.

I tried to be a Gentleman,
but I guess that's what I get for being nice.

This post was not started as a debate but for some reason
others decided to hijack it, and get personal!

And, after doing so, they became very immature and unprofessional!
(read paragraph 4 of rule #1)

BTW: My bad is not an apology, is is only an acknowledgement of making a mistake. Sorry some don't get it, and think it's not rude, which it is!

What is the purpose of this thread if it is not to announce that you are getting something for free that you are supposed to be paying for?

You know that you are supposed to be paying for them as you are making a big deal out of telling everyone that you are getting them for free.
I think you're just being intellectually dishonest.

The thing is, that you know that those >PAY< PER VIEW channels are meant to be >PAID< for. So are all of the premium services that cable and satellite companies >SELL<. Viewing them in any other way other than PAYING for them is dishonest.

Crowing about getting them for free, says it allYou keep trying to divert attention away from the point.

You are dishonest

[fu]

( for you, read rule # 1 completely)

What was the point?

Oh yeah!
My second posting in this thread allowing freedom of choice, to allow others to be able to decide what was right for them.

The origional point that was hi-jacked!
(for the record I tried to change the subject to open channels and there are many open feeds containing premium viewing)

The opinions made by those should have followed the last line of Rule # 1

quote: RULE#1
When in doubt, please do as your mother told you and keep your comments to yourself.

I agree with others here that you deflect the truth and logical and rational justifications with personal attacks and comparisons to other activities.
While I did make comparisons to other activities,
it was in no way to deflect the truth or to make a logical or rational justification.

Show one directed personal attack made by me in this thread.

All statements made by me were only made in self defense.

As such,
I think you guys owe me a sincere public personal apology.

How about it?

Arse Kicker out!

True, but even just skimming this thread it is blatantly obvious to me that you ARE in fact stealing programming that you should be paying for. If someone came on here bragging about how they bootlegged movies at their theater and everyone jumped on the guy for it ("personal attacks"), I would have to say in that particular case the group was well justified for it.

Let's call it a day.
