For one, I would like to finish college; two, we wanted to get the astrological timing favorable; third, I want the time to get into shape! I want my wedding photos to look good. I don't want to have children either. Just one tip though: even if you do win the lottery, forget Stonehenge. When I was a student at Exeter and my parents lived in Wimbledon, South London, I drove past it probably once or twice a month. The site itself is surrounded by A-roads (freeways to all intents and purposes) on three sides. Should you ever drive past Stonehenge you'll have plenty of time to admire it becuase the A303 is always snarled to a second gear crawl where it passes the site. It rains there all the time, except for one or twice when it snows. You have to pay £8 ($13ish) to get in. There would be nowhere to hold any reception except a monumentally skanky café which charges around £2 for a cup of coffee (no booze). Having gone through all this you're then forced on a frogmarch round the stones and are discouraged by uniformed wardens from actually stopping and looking at any of them. Taking pictures of them is banned; presumably to maximise their takings from post card sales. It sounds like what's happened to most of the US Gulf Coast. Gracia has the option of Stonehenge - Aotearoa in New Zealand. A druidic ceremony with Paul Cassidy, James Falloon, Christopher Wilson, & Brian Hogan would be very nice. As we know from Ceasar and other classical authors, the Celtic druids did not write any of their teachings down, nor did they share it with outsiders or even uninitiated members of their own tribes. In other words, that knowledge, whatever it may have been, was completely lost - whatever they try to sell you in those esoteric bookstores. Apart from that, Stonehenge predates the Celtic period by at least 2 millenia. Whenever I think of druids and Stonehenge I'll always remember an ex-girlfriend who noticed a brief news item covering some ceremony or other they were performing. Agree with Leo and that Stone Hedge is great, until you see it and say "hmmm, I thought it was going to be bigger" But hey, if I ever get married, it would be a cool place to get hitched at.
