Brad's video is quite the hit here at CCSN's aviation program. The program director is still laughing her empennage off. That dog is quite the trouper--s/he seems to be taking the zero-G rather well. [Big Grin]

If Scott Neff and Joe Redifer ever teamed up to make a video, it would probably go something like this. (MP4 video format)

This will waste 8 mins of your life... Plus it's a huge file! Something I edited and co-directed with my friends. A cooking show parody, granted we spent very little time planning it and very spur of the moment type of thing. It was just something fun and stupid to make.

"Das Cook" 21 MB

http://jenniferpan.net/video/Dascook.wmv

Back story: READ ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE SEEN THE VIDEO!

This is how the whole idea came about...

Alex comes up with the idea of making a movie with basketball cards.
Then the idea of a cooking show comes into mind... and boom... A cooking show where we cook up some basketball cards. Originally we were going to do it inside but we didn't want the whole apartment to catch on fire.

You have to keep in mind that Alex is a really quite dude who barely says a word. And for him to have done all the things in the video... it just cracks up everyone who knows him. I guess you just have to know this group of guys to get the full extent of the humor behind it all.

We shot the whole thing in about 30 minutes to an hour(including driving footage).
Driving around and looking for ghetto streets and people to shoot. It was so hard to find black people [Big Grin] and when we did find them we got all excited and tried to capture them on video. Nothing against them, we just wanted to make it funny and stereotypical. Spent 15 minutes driving around to find the props and 10 minutes convincing Chris that it's just an awesome idea [Razz] while he accidentally made up the theme song for the show.

Afterwards we just hung out and watched some Donnie Darko when Chris came up with an idea to add at the end. "Next week's episode...". His plan was that he would be stripped down to his underwear and tied up in the trunk of the car. But soon chickened out with the underwear idea when we all quickly agreed to do it. As we were taping the scene the batteries on my camcorder went out. So we left Chris in the trunk for about 10 minutes as his girlfriend panicked and wanted to get him out. But he wanted to stay in there to create a sweating effect. Would have just been better if we sprayed him down with water but we didn't. We kind of wanted him to suffocate. As we waited for the batteries to charge up a little we watched more Donnie Darko. (I still need to finish watching it!)

Editing took a few hours since it was my first time using a new software(Power Director 3). It was a windy day hence the crappy sound. And the sound that we recorded separately didn't turn out too well. So I had to resort to the video's audio.

OK, now watch the video again... maybe just maybe its better this time. Hmmm... I think I might have screwed up the video for all of you now... There are also several bloopers you'll see through out the whole video. All added to have that stupid humor theme.

BITCH! Pilot Episode

Here's another video of mine. I actually STAR in this one, also I never get this mad... I don't think I'll ever get this mad either. When I get mad I get quite, the silent treatment is my specialty. It gets to people every time. Over acting is always fun, as well as playing someone completely the opposite of me.

People have been telling me to make more episodes... I had some ideas but I don't think they're good enough, I just need time to clear me head. Anyways, enjoy.

BTW... just warning everyone ahead of time... the bitch word is used A LOT in this video.
