Actually I think the movie itself was supposed to be funny since people kept referring to Michael Keaton as a "comedian". That scene nor any other part of the movie was funny. Luckilly, it was only a 2k bulb that popped on him. Can you imagine if a 6k let go around them? Course, as black as it was, I bet it had mega hours on it why it blew so easilly due to the quartz was horribly weakened unless the anode seal was also weak causing it to go like it did. He was lucky (and the other kid too to not get hit with any shards) to suffer such small injuries from the quartz shards, but I bet those shards have embedded themselves in pretty deep in itself.. Now, this is heaven working in this "box" with those Cinemeccanicas (which I would say they were V-8's but could be 9's or 10's ..) ..bout as idiotic as popping a bulb with no cover I would say when striking up carbons with the lamphouse door opened esp. as big as those rods are - which I would say they'd be 11mm positives - Monte  |  IP: Logged Joe Redifer You need a beating today Posts: 12859 From: Denver, Colorado Registered: May 99 posted 12-27-2007 06:12 AM                        It looks to me like they leave their bulbs in the lamphouse perhaps a bit too long.
