Let us talk about Universal bases still in use in parts of the USA...that is film done out of date [Razz] Most of the prints they use are circulated around the country and they run them out of the film cases. There are some users of one hour reels, large reel transports....and two projector changeovers but the local economics set the factors [Cool]
Their reality is actually nice......

I am surprised they didn't cut the leaders off so they wouldn't have to watch them run through the projector.

In the video they try to frame on the incoming reel and run out of play, so they have to rack the framing all the way around. Since that alters the loop sizes, even if they did have the machine threaded right in the first place, everything else they run the rest of the night will be scratched by the projector (unless they happen to manage to misframe in reverse).

But hey, this is why the studios won't release their vault prints to platter houses...because REEL TO REEL houses are PERFECT and take FAR better care of the film! [Moon] [steve] [Moon]

I'm not exactly sure why, but I think this Bud Light commercial is just funny as hell. Best one they've done in a while.

On a similar note to Bobby's

I can't get enough of these stupid Coke vs Coke Zero ads. I think they're hysterical.

The Vegas , a great band with a great cover version of: "Surf Rider" by The Lively Ones... (the tune playing during the credits of "Pulp Fiction").

This talented band has other great tunes like: "Wipe Out".

Bass Player: George Round...Hubba Hubba!

It's ashamed to hear that band is doing so poorly Phil. The bass player can't even afford a haircut!
