The cinema was built in 1937...that cinema (still in its original dress circle and stalls formation with 900 seats) sits in between two extensions. In that video, the film starts on the 1997 extension and travels to the other side to the 2001 extension. We stopped there. The hole through the wall was put there by us. It's a piece of 60mm PVC pipe and allows the film to go into our smallest cinema of 59 seats. We can now sell private sessions for parties or groups to see the new movie in the 900 seater but at their own screening 2 minutes and 11 seconds later. It leaves us with 5 of our 6 screens able to be interlocked or just for a 'film journey'. I'm sure you'll agree that journeying a print of Harry Potter or Transformers is much easier on the back than lifting those things. The "AK-47" they're selling, like most gun dealers sell, is a re-labeled, cheap Chinese SKS rifle with only semi-auto functioning. A true AK-47 is a Russian-made Kalashnikov with full auto capability. That kind of weapon cannot be legally sold to civilians. Of course, with a little modification that Chinese made AK can work in full auto and waste its user a whole lot of money on ammunition real fast. I'd rather have a Colt AR-15, a Sig Sauer 556 or a number of Heckler and Koch models if I was in the market for an assault rifle. The folks at the OFASTS shows often have grandfathered Class-C gun dealers licenses that allow them to legally own full auto weapons. I'm not sure what goes on to allow full auto gun owners to sell such weapons to others. My own opinion is spraying full auto machine gun fire serves only one legitimate tactical purpose: laying down suppressive gun fire. You're spraying a lot of bullets over the heads of your enemy keeping them hunkered down in their holes which allows your buddies to move and hopefully flank the position of the enemy. Your buddies will be firing single shots or 3 round bursts when they sight their targets. In terms of accuracy, full auto weapons are a joke. Even a lot of semi auto rifles suck ass compared to a good bolt-action single shot rifle. I honestly don't understand why all the anti gun people and politicians get their panties in a bunch over "assault rifles". If they really wanted to make a dent in gun related homicides by banning certain kinds of weapons they would make more progress by getting rid of those cheap .22 and .25 ACP hideaway pawn shop pistols. Those are the main things the gang bangers are carrying. They're not rolling down the street with a Sig Sauer 556 rifle! Still, full auto machine gun fire in a demo setting puts a big wide smile on the faces of many. It sits below the first cinema in that video but projects in the opposite direction so the screen is under that first booth. The only way into the downstairs booth is through the cinema. I'd have to travel the film through the foyer (and even down the elevator shaft) and that could be messy with the crowds we get...not to mention if someone calls the elevator.
