I just had an epiphany moment!
Back around 1996-1998 I saw lots of movies at General Cinema Theatres. I remember the intermission music was great, and had lots of jazz, new age, and ambient tracks, with a few vocals thrown in. It seemed the same CD was played at all four GCC locations here in the Bay Area. I had gotten to know it so well I began to know which order the songs would play in. I always liked this one new age sounding song that would always play after John Lennon's "Imagine". I never knew what the song was, but I always hoped I'd hit the CD just right so that I'd hear the song before the movies started.
Tonight I was going through some music files on my computer. One was called "Blade Runner End Titles", and since I had just seen the movie for the first time, and I remembered the end credits had real neat music, I pushed play. That's when I had my epiphany moment.
I had always wondered what that song I liked so much was...Funny I didn't pick up on it at the Grand Lake screening.
I didn't know the Castro will be showing Blade Runner. I might have ta check that screening out!
