I only thought they were effects in Transformers because they reflected off the computer generated stuff ... unless they actually built and filmed those alien robots traditionally. [Wink]

If they were reflecting off of CG, then they were certainly fake.

I love it when flares are put in something and the fake ones don't match the natural ones (wrong number of sides on the polygon), and the even worse, scope flare put in flat movie (Dungeons and Dragons).
