(neither of which is related to me) will be screening "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" on October 26-28 and "Singin' in the Rain" on November 2-4. They made my rent a reel of 6. I ran them the first night a got complaints. I cut it (against WB's orders) to three for the remainder of the run. For Christmas this year at the Norwood Theatre (in Norwood, MA., not related to me), we will be showing Miracle on 34th Street (yes, the original one). Screenings will be on December 7th and 8th. In January of 2014, we have a Ginger Rogers/Fred Astaire series, with Flying Down to Rio, Top Hat, and Follow the Fleet playing on 1/22, 1/23, and 1/24, respectively. In February, we have Princess Bride booked for 2/12-2/14. All films are in 35mm and will screen with cartoon shorts. I've been to a few of these and have been generally happy with the presentation. It's smart for them to screen this before the new film in the franchise is released. http://www.cinemark.com/Cinemark-Classic-Series JAWS, also the best film of all time, will be playing on June 21 and 24th at multiple theater chains. This is a 40th anniversary Fathom event. Does anyone know if these showings are better than they used to be?
