Harkins Theaters will be showing Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in their big "Cine Capri" and "Cine 1" auditoriums on Tuesday, February 26... thanks in part to me.
I tweeted them and emailed their Guest Services requesting they play it on those premium screens, which are ~70' wide. I argued that fans can see these films at home on decent-sized home theaters any time they want, but by showing Indy on truly giant screens, they will give people a reason to leave home.
I also mentioned that I have attended several of their previous Tuesday Night Classics and the Cine Capri always had a smaller crowd than the TNC films, despite the current release showing there (I peeked).
I hope it does well and they do this more often. I intend to "Andy Dufresne" them and pester them twice as much now.
If you live in Denver, SoCal, AZ, OKC or DFW, go see the second best Indiana Jones film on the big screen!
