"Suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness."

Boy the way Glenn Miller played
Songs that made the hit parade,
Guys like us we had it made,
Those were the days.

Didn't need no welfare state,
Everybody pulled his weight;
Gee, our old LaSalle ran great,
Those were the days.

And you knew where you were then,
Girls were girls and men were men.
Mister, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again.

People used to be content,
Fifty dollars paid the rent,
Freaks were in a circus tent,
Those were the days.

Take a little Sunday spin;
Go to watch the Dodgers win.
Have yourself a dandy day that cost you under a fin.

Hair was short and skirts were long,
Kate Smith really sold a song,
I don't know just what went wrong,
Those...were....the.....dayyyyyyyys!

I always saw it written "I am Sofa King We Todd Did." It's funny to give someone unfamiliar with the joke a piece of paper saying "I am Sofa King we Todd did" and asking them to read it out loud.

Sounds like the gag PA pages we used to make at McCarran airport on a slow Saturday night when you could fire a cannon in the terminal and not hit anyone, you know: Paging Mr. Meoff, Mr. Jack Meoff, please pick up a white courtesy telephone. Thank you!

.....

No one owns life, but anyone who can pick up a frying pan owns death.

Would you classify that as a launch problem or a design problem?

Babs Johnson: I guess there's just two kinds of people in this world, Miss Sandstone . . . MY kind of people, and assholes. It's rather obvious which category YOU fit into. Have a nice day!

Miss Sandstone (raising middle finger): Eat the bird, bitch!

Frank opens the filing cabinet and pulls a small plastic bag out of one of the folders

FRANK: The missing evidence from the Kelner case, my god, he was innocent.

ED: Frank he went to the chair three years ago!

Frank throws the small plastic bag back into the filing cabinet and quickly closes it.
