A very interesting video done some years ago, it shows the internal failure of a very large power transformer (like ones in a substation). Note how the internal coils and structure move around before failure..the end of the video is the most dramatic and was the events right before it exploded.

How to show what little you know on Youtube (AKA: How to buy 16mm film)

And from the same moron...

Set your camera about 4-5 paces away from the screen

Sadly he has tons of these...

How to focus and turn the sound up on the camera

Just do a youtube search for "expertvillage" for more pathetically awful "how to" videos. [Roll Eyes]

World's Greatest Dog Act --

Bob Williams & Louie the Dog

(Notice the soccer ball icon next to the resolution setting. YouTube has been putting this on many videos to salute the 2010 World Cup. Pressing that gives you the beautiful harmonies of the Vuvuzela.)

I saw a ***GREAT*** 1970's coming-of-age film titled "Deep End" a couple of days ago on TCM. I laughed and I cried.

While it's not available on DVD, I did find the complete film in several sections on You Tube. Watch it! It's hilarious, profound, and touching.

"expertvillage" WTF?!

ex-pert (n) 'Ex' is a has-been and 'spurt' is a drip under pressure

Rather appropriate for Mr 16mm film expert.
