Georgia has very little equipment to handle snow and ice, so the side streets are last to be delt with, if at all. On my way home, I make a right turn onto my street, and there is a well shaded, and ice covered hill right there. Not much room to get enough speed up to make it up the hill. The hill also curves to the left. This is north Georgia. This being said, I did make it up the hill without a problem, so maybe I'm worying about nothing; but as the old saying goes: I'd rather be safe than sorry.
As I posted on my Facebook page right after the ice storm: Mother Nature please get it right: ice belongs in drinks, not on the road.
