I hope it isn't going anywhere anytime soon. That's what's wrong with so many big businesses. Too many are more concerned about selling their stock at ever inflated prices rather than paying attention to their fundamental mission: selling a good quality product or service to consumers. IMAX Digital is nothing but a cost-cutting DOWNGRADE from 15-perf 70mm projection. I have little if any desire to pay the very high premium to watch a movie in an IMAX Digital theater. The 2K projection doesn't show more detail than I can see in a regular d-cinema equipped theater. The only real benefit IMAX Digital theaters provide is a brighter digital 3D picture. That's it. I might be willing to drive 100 or 200 miles to see a quality 15/70 show. Here in the UK, what I think is the first conversion has been announced. The Birmingham IMAX is switching to a non-IMAX digital projector but retaining their 70-foot screen. Apparently they had a contract with IMAX that was renewable every ten years and the first ten years is up. The only time they made any money in that ten years was with Avatar. And anyone of you is welcome to come check it out and you can even get a tour if you feel so inclined. I'm really looking forward to this film, I think its going to be good. I really don't think you can take these pictures with more then a grain of salt. I think most of it looks good, but you really don't know the contexts of them. Its funny, IMAX was proud of the camera being destroyed. It was on their twitter feed and I got an email from a friend there that told me to go look for the video.  |  IP: Logged Mark J. They talk about it on the blu-ray and mention that there were only four in existence and now there are three. As far as Dark Knight accidents go, there was another one recently when the Batwing hit a sign which ripped off part of its wing .
