I'm pretty sure that's correct. I recall reading somewhere that Nolan edited on film and had trouble finding a lab that remembered how to do the processing. Presumably the 35mm footage was scanned at 4K for the IMAX prints. I imagine he'll be doing it old school again for The Dark Knight Rises.  |  IP: Logged
