How about movies/series set in Washington DC?

In BONES, Dr. Brennan can't take a drive with agent Booth while remaining in this dimension. First shot, they're passing the Smithsonian ... next line they're passing the FBI building ... for the reply, they're passing the Washington Monument ... next line they're - uh, where is that? - Oh, yes! An alley in Los Angeles.

IIRC: "The Pelican Brief" Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington jump into a cab and say "Take me to the Capitol" where upon the driver heads West towards the Smithsonian. Any DC cabbie would have made a U-turn and driven the two blocks East to the Capitol.

As we all know from the movies, the Washington Monument and the Capitol building are visible from every window and every office in DC;)

I always love how the folks in NCIS can get from the Washington Navy Yard to Norfolk, Va, do some investigatin and be back in DC before sunset. Not to mention getting anywhere in the DC area without problem.
