I was thinking that it would be more of a concession-stand item, but I agree that dealing with these at the boxoffice would take too long. I know no more than the webpage says, and in particular, don't know what the latency is like. But if it works, well... The company this comes from, Stage Research, are highly respected in the theatre community, so I have expectations this will work as it says on the can.
