Need help with Relay for auto start CX-900 Lamp House

    Is the diode soldered to the bottom of the relay socket? Regardless, you have a 110VDC coil.... plug that baby in!

    I would, however, plan to do what Mark and Josh said.... parallel a zener diode and ceramic disc cap together, and place them in series with the relay coil. It's a good, reliable method.

        I plugged it in a it does auto strike! Yay! It is minus the diode and cap. Is that okay for now? What value diode and cap do you suggest? Again thank you for your help

            A 75V zener and any high voltage ceramic disc capactor (like a 1000V, .01 uF)

              If your using a 110VDC coil relay, you don't need the zener diode or capacitor.
