Source for Strong Highlight console switches

Hello, we just had a failure of the "lamp on" switch in one of our consoles. I can't seem to cross reference the switch and find a suitable replacement. Does anyone know what brand and where to source them?

    Thanks,

If you can't find the exact match or a donor console. I would just measure the panel cutout and then look on digikey or mouser for a suitable two position panel switch based on the panel opening size.

It seems that one had an indicator light for on status too, ideally something like that as well.

If you were being really frugal or it was an emergency. Perhaps there is another two position switch on the console your venue doesn't need, could rob that one. Main Curtain maybe?

Are you talking about the original Highlight with the square push buttons? If so those were a little less common of a design so may be more difficult to find and expensive or real old stock if you can find them.

There was also the Super Highlight that I think had different style then the Highlight 2 and 2a. I think the 2's may have used the same switches and I did find replacements for those. It was the same style switch that the CNA/ECNA used. For that style (the rectangle black rocker) Doxit D100S did the trick. It took a couple applications and working em but it got the contacts reliable and they stopped sticking. I never had those issues back in the day but when you let em sit for 15 or so years then try and wake em up they seem to be a bit temperamental.

Replacing / bypassing the problem ones with something more common should also be dooable just make sure you understand what you are working with. Depending on the age and model you could have 120v ac or 12vdc going on there and depending on which switch it is they were sometimes not just a simple SPST.

If it is the same as the Eprad switches, they are still at the same location building ECNA's. They would obviously have them.
