Louise and I had a less dramatic wedding a little over 30 years ago, but we DID enjoy the movie. We really did not like Rachel. Each character reveals the worst thing they ever did. It turns out that Charlie's (Emma's fiance) worst thing was largely what led to Emma's worst thing (though in different high schools). And, Misha appeared ready to repeat her worst thing. Another clever connection is that when Charlie first approaches Emma, he blows it. Emma then suggests he try again. Then, at the end of the movie, after everything has blown up, Emma once again invites Charlie to try again (pretend they are just meeting).
The movie is very well done. It's a wedding couple's worst nightmare, but they survive.
