Several years ago I heard an interview on the radio with an emergency room nurse who
had written a book about the numerous items she's had to extricate from assorted human
orifices. I don't remember the exact title, but it was called something like "How Did That
Get In There?" At one point during the conversation, she mentioned that a very common
item they've had to remove were light bulbs "that were inserted the wrong way".
Say what???- - Does that imply there's a right way to do that?
(Of course we know what she meant, but she could have phrased it better.
- - and how many ER doctors does it take to unscrew- - oh, never mind. . . )
