    Speckle effect with Laser CP4330

    Dear All
Greetings for the New Year 2020 !!!! with new portal too.........!!!

We are facing a speckle effect at one of the site with laser CP4330 projector.
The site is having 2.2 gain Harkness screen, HB Lens 1.63 -2.7:1 and Volfoni triple beam 3D.
so need expert advice how to overcome these speckle effects.

    Thanks

Replace the screen with one of much lower gain would help.

I have a site with CP4325 on a matt white screen at gain =1.

You'd have to really look for the speckle.

Another step might be shakers if a sensible gain screen isn't an option.

Unfortunately the Chirstie series 3 and Barco series 4 laser projectors are only 3 primary and can not do the laser version of Dolby 3D like the series 2 ones could being 6 primaries. That you can do on a mat white screen but if you are doing polarized 3D and need a gain screen then screen shaker is the way to go. There are 1.8 gain 3D screens that might help some.

The series 2 RGB laser projectors had 6 primaries. A set of short wavelengths for each primary color (red, blue, green) and a set for long wavelengths. In 3D mode it would use one set for one eye and the other for the other eye. This is based on the Dolby 3D system but no color wheel needed. Special laser 3D glasses are needed.

For some reason, I need to think about the "Gillette Power" razors, you know, those things that include a battery to operate a little shaker, that seemingly helps to get the hairs to be trimmed in just the right position.

When are we going to introduce the despeckle glasses, powered by Gillette Fusion glasses shaking technology?
