Go Shorter than about the 33mm that you mentioned and you will have a shadow of the front edge of the mount in the picture on screen...... Posts: 12814 From: Annapolis, MD Registered: Dec 1999 posted 06-15-2003 11:01 AM                     On the ISCO, naturally I'm talking about the ones with the .52X magnifier as part of the lens assembly (it's exiting diameter is greater than 4"). It is still available from ISCO, is multicoated and looks GREAT. The Schneider lenses (there are two of them now) also have a magnifier made by Century Precison so it too should clear the lens support. As always, scope is the tough one. 50mm clears everything, 47.5 clears the projector but not the focus rack and 45 vignetts in the projector. I've tried ISCO and Schneider of various vintages. I've even tried Schneider's focal point extenders.
