Gordon, I think you're referring to the Model 364 which had the cleanup mode although I believe the box carried the circuitry not the NR card. The 364 (containing a Cat. 22) was used with an E2 holding a Cat. 64 EQ card to do Dolby Mono. Isn't that where the head EQ part of the older Cat. 64's were used (as slit loss correction before the signal goes back to the Cat. 22)?
